BRUHUD New York Seniors (BNYS), founded in 2009 by the late Shri Shashikant M. Patel, is a registered 501(c)(3) cultural and educational non-profit organization based in New York. BNYS serves as a vibrant and inclusive community hub for individuals and families originating from the state of Gujarat, India, who now reside in the New York tristate area.
Shri Shashikant Patel had always possessed a deep passion for serving the community and improving the lives of others. His journey in public service began during his formative years in Surat, India, and continued as he moved to Uganda, East Africa, and ultimately to New York, USA.
Bruhud Seniors is committed to supporting individuals in need of prosthetics or artificial limbs, Seniors, Orphans, and those requiring essential medical services who lack the financial resources to access proper care, helping to improve their quality of life
